Yvonne Rodesch
Yvonne Rodesch is a Luxembourgish artist and printmaker. She was a founding member of the printmaking studio 'Empreinte' in 1994. Born in Arsdorf, she has been living in Boevange/Attert since 1999.
Yvonne started working in printmaking in 1986 and attended regular courses at the Summer Academy in Luxembourg from 1989 to 1993.
In her prints, Yvonne explores themes of human isolation, vulnerability, and the fragmented moments of life, often depicting human bodies in her compositions. She balances these themes with a careful choice of colours and their intensities, creating a sense of harmony.
Yvonne has exhibited her works in group shows in various countries, including Germany, Japan, the USA, Canada, Belgium, Portugal, and Luxembourg.
In 2023, Yvonne was the Artist in Residence at the Belfast Print Workshop from April until the beginning of May.
