SInce his retirement Armstrong has focused on his own work which is generally concerned with the relationships between people and their social and political environment. He exhibits regularly in solo and group shows throughout Ireland.

Lisa’s primary interest is working with photographic still life images that she composes to represent psychological spaces.
Her work focuses on bringing about a quiet sense of order and clarity as a response to exploring the uneasy feelings that cause us to question ourselves. Uncertainty, ambiguity and tension are all themes that inform her inspiration.
