‘Room’, presents a series of prints that originate from a single image. It depicts a space; physical or psychological, that is waiting for something to happen, something waiting to happen or something that will never happen. Room explores the themes of uncertainty, ambiguity and time.
The artist, Lisa Murray, explores the process of CMYK photo Intaglio, seamlessly blending the intricate art form of printmaking with photographic imagery. Each print illustrates incremental changes in technique and nuanced variations in outcome, with an aesthetic that is inspired by film photography.
