EBRAHIM EHRARI

Ebrahim Ehari is originally from Azerbaijan and has lived for many years in Berlin, where, until recently, he was on the staff of Bethanien Print Workshop, where he taught etching. His work borrows from the rich imagery of Persian culture and mythology, fusing its ancient stories with the European tradition of myth- making. His work also explores social and political aspects of European culture between the 1960s and 1980s, a period that holds particular interest for him.
