SOPHIE AGHAJANIAN

Sophie Aghajanian was born in Haifa (of Armenian extraction) and educated in Cyprus. She went to England in 1962 and studied at Ravensbourne College of Art in London and Brighton College of Art. She has received the RU Gold Medal and completed a variety of commissions, including two prints for the Chester Beatty Library and Graphic Studio print project. Her work appears in private collections worldwide and in many public collections, such as the Museum of Contemporary Graphic Art, Norway, Musée Les Abattoirs, France, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the Ulster Museum.
